You choose who gets your contact details
Partners first receive a business summary without your email or phone number. Your email and phone go to a funder only after you choose that funder and direct their release in writing.
What happens to your information when you apply, in plain words. The formal version is the Privacy Policy; this page is the promise behind it.

We do not sell or rent your information, share it for advertising, or add you to marketing lists. We use it to review and work on the funding request you asked us to handle.
Applications and source documents are stored using Google Cloud services. Our email provider sends the OpenQuote team a separate application summary, never the source financial documents. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete what you submitted by emailing mike@openquote.io.
If a funder can evaluate your request only with the full file, we tell you first and send nothing without your written approval. Once you choose a funder and we send the file, that funder handles it under its own privacy practices and may contact you directly.
Submitting an application or contact form lets OpenQuote contact you about that inquiry by email or phone. We do not use those details for marketing. If we do not hear back, we follow up at most twice more. Ask us to stop at any time by emailing mike@openquote.io, and we stop.
Application data and documents travel over an encrypted connection and are stored using Google Cloud services in the United States. Resend delivers a separate application-summary notification to the OpenQuote team. Source financial documents stay in protected cloud storage and are never attached to that email. Access is limited to the people reviewing your application and the service providers that store or deliver the relevant part. We keep records while working on your request and for a limited period afterward. This site does not currently set advertising pixels or analytics cookies.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you provided. Read the Privacy Policy for the formal terms, or email mike@openquote.io if you believe we fell short.
